Hi Dr. Hall!
I am excited to see you presenting on the connection between inflammation and states of mind. I’ve found the same correlations between the immune system and mental health as you note - I’ve spent the last decade correlating EEG patterns, training folks toward personal transformation and interrupting brain patterns towards liberation. I find through the EEG, we are able to see inflammation flare-ups and how it is impacting mental health stability (mood, cognitive abilities, emotional intelligence, repetative patterning in behavior). The EEG also has been an excellant and effective way to train while simultaneously monitoring employed strategies to impacting the inflammation and it’s extending effects (ex: how aggressive does one need to get on an individual basis to resolve, what’s working, what’s not). I simply haven’t found very many professionals understanding the connections, and even fewer understanding the EEG as a tool towards client health and transformation. Have you found much research on this area yourself? I have found the most reliable tool and information using NeuroFeedback (my preference is for NeurOptimal). I’d be happy to discuss threads of this in greater detail, with the intent to contribute and further this path of knowledge; in assisting others to understand and resolve their barriers. Congratulaitons on your work!
